META 5 provides a full cycle of recycling scrap and waste of lead-bearing raw materials, followed by the production of grade lead, lead alloys and recycled polypropylene.
The plant’s production infrastructure includes raw material mechanical preparation areas, smelting and refining facilities, an in-house quality control laboratory and a logistics complex.
Raw Material Preparation
Raw material is processed mechanically on specialized battery breaking lines. The plant is equipped with several upgraded KRAB lines with a total capacity of up to 180 tons of battery raw material per day.
Reverberatory Smelting
The prepared raw material is sent to the smelting area.
The plant’s distinguishing feature is the use of two reverberatory furnaces, which efficiently produce high-purity crude lead and ensure stable subsequent refining.
